Speaker Bio: Mr. Masayuki Hoshi, RDT

Mr. Masayuki Hoshi RDT, was born in Fukushima, Japan. Mr. Hoshi attended the Sendai Dental Technology School of Japan from 1973-1979. In 1976 Mr.Hoshi attended a one year course at the International Dental Academy of Japan and trained under Dr. Sumiya Hobo. After moving to the United States in 1979, Mr. Hoshi worked with Mr. Asami Tanaka at the Asami Tanaka Dental Institute in Skokie, IL , were he was an instructor at the Institute until 1985. In 1985 Mr. Hoshi had technical study in Europe for one year with Awegs -Dental labor in Munich, Germany and Einst A. Hegenbarth Dental labor in Frankfurt, Germany. After coming back to the United States Mr.Hoshi worked for a couple dental laboratories and in 1992-2003 at the Oral Rehabilitation Institute. In 2003 Mr. Hoshi opened his own dental laboratory called Hoshi Dental Arts in Morton Grove, IL. Mr. Masayuki Hoshi has published many articles in the United States and Japan and has lectured all around the world.

Digital dentures is the newest hot topic in dental technology worldwide. With so many systems and equipment available there will also be rise in questions about what is the best way to start, which workflow to follow, and what production options are available.

Join Bryce from Whip Mix for a presentation on digital dentures, from design through

characterization. We will explore various design options, 3D printing methods, materials, and post-
processing. Join us and be on the cutting edge of the industry.

Speaker Bio: Bryce Hiller, BA, CDT

Bryce began his dental journey at Ford’s Dental Lab in Athens, Ohio. During his time there, he was the lead CAD/CAM technician, specializing in fixed design, implants, digital removable design, 3D printing, and milling. After joining the team at Whip Mix, he has been prioritizing the advancement of digital dentures, particularly 3D printing and characterization. Bryce has an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, as well as several industry certifications.
